Celebrating National Yoga Month All Month Long
Here at Organic Spa Magazine, we totally love our yoga, and we all appreciate different styles and fresh philosophies. We are lucky to work alongside many healers and trainers, scientists and gurus as we report on the organic and sustainable trends of the day.
Yoga is true medicine.
To celebrate and be more mindful this month, we’ll highlight some of our favorite yoga experiences, and feature yoga-inspired ideas all month long.
In two upcoming yoga retreats (October and January) the historic Hotel del Coronado in Southern California launches a new 2-day yoga wellness retreat entitled “Be Well at the Del” led by a charming international yoga instructor and lecturer named Luciana LoPresto.
The 2-night package is $735 per person based on double occupancy and includes customized wellness pampering that may transform your life and invigorate your own fitness regimen. The whole weekend is meant to inspire and unlock blocks within you.
When I attended LoPresto’s virgin retreat at the Del, it included:
° A welcome reception and complementary elixir bar over the Pacific Ocean
° Complimentary 50-minute massage or body treatment at the Spa
° Breakfast daily near the organic herb gardens
° Two 90-minute personalized yoga classes per day
° Chef’s instructional lunch and cooking class
° Wellness presentations and a wine reception
I recently attended a rainy yoga weekend at this historic landmark hotel, and had an active and informative experience indoors the whole time. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, yogini LoPresto said, “We finely integrated the yoga experience with the relaxing spa treatments, along with lighter food menu items, and this combination transforms and works this incredible magic in a couple of days of condensed detoxing.”
Join us as we explore environmentally-friendly ways to improve our health and wellness. On your next birthday, ask someone to buy you a wellness weekend, good for the soul.
